NYC Parks SOPARC Study

New York City Department of Parks and Recreation conducts a longitudinal study every summer to analyze park usership from their Community Parks Initiative projects. As a data analyst intern, Alisa coordinated the field research team, organized and synthesized the data founded into a report, and made conclusions for the findings. The data was then presented to the planning department. Each year gives, a new research focus for the report is determined by the data analyst. For the 2020 report, the focus was on intergenerational differences in facilities and programming usage.
